ABOUT TESSA

Like so many people, Tessa found Pilates when searching for pain management for her own body. Training & competing in Swimming, Tessa was diagnosed with serious condition in her lower back & pelvis in her early teens.

Dealing with intense pain day in & day out, Tessa & her family needed to find help. Pilates was, as it is for many, the answer to managing & reducing her chronic pain. Strengthening her core & body from the inside out, she fell in love with Pilates & the strength it gave to the smallest to biggest muscles in the body.

Tessa's passion for Pilates only grew & in 2018 she became Polestar International Certified Mat & Reformer Pilates Instructor

& started working as such.

As well as Pilates, Tessa has shared her passion for movement over the years working as a Swimming Instructor teaching everyone from babies to adults, a 'Kinder Fitness' instructor teaching aerobics & ball skills in Kindergartens & various sports coaching, while also staying active in any & all ways possible: Pilates, triathlons, boxing, boot camps, tennis, softball, yoga, surfing & ballet.

Through Pilates Tessa wants to help your body to find it's voice, to get the movement, strength & flexibility it craves, needs & is made for. 

Along with this, Tessa knows the importance of facilitating a moment in your day where you have time to focus on yourself, nurturing your physical and  mental health. 

In her spare time Tessa loves to spend time with her family, including her Italian greyhound Bacio! If you are lucky you might end up in 

a class with him - he loves making a guest appearance!
